There is a high school preparatory class for students who join our school at the High School level and do not have the necessary foreign language proficiency. With the 23-hour weekly foreign language education provided in the preparatory class, our students reach the high school beginner level in a foreign language by the end of the year.
At the high school level, our foreign language lessons are based on grammar, oral communication, text writing, and analysis, in addition to four foreign language skills. It is aimed that our students who graduate from high school reach a level where they can produce process-based and creative writing works in different text types, and conduct and present research from foreign sources.
Our students are encouraged to take internationally recognized and valid exams such as Goethe, TELC, in addition to Cambridge exams starting from primary school, and their foreign language levels are documented with international certificates.
At all grade levels, foreign languages are used intensively not only in class but also in social and club activities. MUN (Model United Nations), Destination Imagination, Debate Club (DEBATE), English and German Literature Club, English and German Theater Club are environments where our students can express themselves in a foreign language.
