Our students acquire English and German through the Double & Double model at an early age, reaching CEFR A2 level and gaining a strong language foundation. Through personalized learning plans, game-based activities, and psychological counseling support, each student discovers their own potential and prepares for the future as confident, productive, and open-to-learning individuals.
Being a student at Anka Bilim College means not only joining a school, but stepping into a deep-rooted academic tradition with a universal perspective, an award-winning campus life, and a strong future with internationally recognized diploma programs. With our approach that centers scientific thinking, global awareness, and interdisciplinary education, we teach our students English and German at an advanced level; we offer a long-term roadmap that supports their academic, social, and cultural development.
Our primary school level is structured within the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). This international program is based on an inquiry-based and interdisciplinary approach that enables the student to take an active role in the learning process. With PYP, our students not only acquire knowledge; they develop their thinking, research, communication, and social skills holistically, take responsibility for their own learning, and strengthen their critical thinking competencies.
The Holistic Education approach we adopt supports learning not in a one-dimensional way, but with a structure that encompasses all areas of student development (mental, emotional, social, and physical). Our practices optimize academic success with Individual Study Plans by centering the student's individual needs; thus transforming learning into a lifelong journey. Our students gain basic life skills in this process, develop self-regulation abilities, and grow as strong, conscious individuals; thanks to the solid foundations they lay in primary school, they can reveal their potential at the highest level in middle and high school levels.
At Anka Bilim College, the Double & Double foreign language education model starting from Kindergarten continues in Primary School 1st and 2nd grades. Thanks to classes conducted by two foreign language teachers together with the internationally recognized co-teaching approach, students gain a strong foundation in four language skills, especially speaking and listening, through intensive language exposure. Foreign language lessons enriched with game-based activities and station work become a more academic program by adding reading and writing skills from 2nd grade onwards. It is aimed that our students graduate at CEFR A2 level at the end of primary school.
In primary school, our Psychological Counseling and Guidance (PDR) unit supports the student in getting to know themselves in the learning process, recognizing their strengths, and developing a sense of responsibility. In order to strengthen emotional and social maturity, not only crisis management but also proactive development-oriented individual and group studies develop empathy, cooperation, and problem-solving skills. Our guidance unit addresses students' academic and psychological development holistically through classroom observations, group work, character development activities, and individual meetings. Through seminars and information meetings for parents, guidance support appropriate to children's developmental stages is provided. Our main goal is to ensure that our students grow as confident, productive, and open-to-learning individuals.
